How the workspace ceiling and resource plans work.

The workspace plan is a ceiling. Each service, database, and Redis instance keeps its own plan. That plan is what you pay for and what sets CPU, memory, autoscaling, and database features.

Checkout changes the ceiling only. It does not move existing resources. After checkout, open Billing and use Resources below your plan. That review lists every resource still under the ceiling. Check the monthly total, uncheck any resource that should stay on its current plan, and confirm. A service move refreshes the running workload before the plan is saved. Idle sleep follows a Free service plan.

A database upgrade requests at least the disk size of the target plan. A downgrade lowers CPU and memory and keeps the current volume. Disk is a high-water mark and is not shrunk. Redis keeps its current memory size when only the plan changes. If that size or HA is not allowed on the target, change it on the Redis screen first.

Lowering the ceiling is refused while any resource is still above the target. Move those resources from the same review, then change the ceiling again. Cancelling the Paystack subscription starts the grace period and leaves the ceiling in place until that period ends.

Prices, including VAT, are on Pricing. Limits are on Pricing & limits.
